Server Job at Chaps Ice Cream
Chaps Ice Cream on the Downtown Mall is hiring a full-time or part-time server for regularly scheduled shifts! We are seeking someone friendly and professional to join our team and assist with serving food and ice cream to guests. Previous experience serving customers preferred.
Schedule
- 15 to 40 hours per week.
- Our current store hours are 11:30am - 10 pm everyday. You must be able to work at least 3-4 shifts (morning or evening) every week.
Responsibilities
- Attending to customers purchasing food or ice cream.
- Processing transactions behind the counter.
- Prepping drinks and desserts
- Serving food from the kitchen to customers at tables indoors and on our outdoor patio.
- Maintain a clean and orderly counter.
- Ensure that all money is accounted for.
- Comply with health and sanitation safety standards.
- Access to reliable transportation to make sure you are able to make it to your scheduled shifts.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience serving customers preferred.
- Previous experience in an ice cream shop is a plus.
- Organized with an attention to detail.
- Basic math skills.
- Professional attitude in customer service.
- Ability to communicate well with fellow staff members.
Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour + tips. Tips vary and generally add $3.50-$10/hour to your pay each week.
