The Opportunity:
- Experience Overall, 16 yrs. of application development experience with a minimum of 4 years of good hand on experience with AWS services related to computing, network, storage, content delivery, security, deployment, and automation Understand requirements, articulate user stories, and create solutions.
Role and & responsibilities
- Design and architect highly available, scalable, efficient, optimized services applications in the AWS Cloud environment Capable of integrating various AWS services (cross-account) using AWS SDK to develop solutions in the area of governance, security, and custom provisioning of infrastructure components.
- Guide architectural choices using various AWS services and solution methodologies Support the creation of WBS, estimation, and SOW Evaluate new AWS services, create a proof of values, and promote by creating business cases Develop frameworks by integrating multiple AWS Services to help deliver the solutions faster Work with team to track the progress and remove any technical blockers White label service products applications into generic multi-cloud solutions Share knowledge concerning cloud architecture, design patterns and programming with the development team Guiding and implementing AWS best practices Working as both an infrastructure and application development specialist Implementing DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration, and automated deployments
- Extensive knowledge of various AWS services at the SDK Level Application development background is a plus Expertise in Infra capacity sizing and costing of AWS services to drive optimized solution architecture, leading to optimal infra investment vs performance and scale Understand the existing architecture and develop plans to support the growth in the cloud adoption good experience in automating the manual activities using a scripting language.
- Expert level experience in writing infrastructure as code using CloudFormation Experience in AWS Native DevOps CICD components Prior experience with a programming language (Preferred NodeJS) Hands-on experience using version control systems like SVN, and GIT Good knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes Services, and Microservices design Provide hands-on technical support for business applications and processes.
- Balance of strategic and tactical skills and the ability to work on cross-functional teams.
- Must understand networking, security, design principles, and best practices in the cloud Expertise in articulating architectural choices to various AWS services and solution methodologies
