Senior Software Engineer (React) Job at KEA
Come join our team! We are a 1-year-old engineering department that is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the internal software that runs our business. In addition to working with the existing systems, we are actively ideating on new products that will provide exciting opportunities for our engineers to get creative and break new ground. Our existing internal software is a web application built on .NET Framework with a React/Typescript SPA in the frontend. While the goal for this posting is to add significant additional React experience, we are also looking for someone who is willing and able to operate proficiently with other technologies in our stack. Having direct experience with the rest of the stack will be a big plus, but at the senior level we believe you will have no issue ramping up where needed.
What you'll do:
- For our existing product, collaborate with the internal product committee and end users to deliver high quality solutions in the always-changing problem space of massive scale property tax management.
- Meaningfully contribute to exercises to design, estimate, and prioritize new features.
- Experiment with and learn new technologies that can make us a better technology company.
- Be a voice for how we structure and scale our engineering department.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years as a professional software engineer.
- You understand (and have the desire to work in) every level of the web development stack. You can develop and deploy a web application from the ground up.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
- The belief that lifelong learning is one of the most appealing aspects of software engineering.
