Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is currently seeking to hire a Sr. Software Developer to join our development team on an Army Program supporting the Army Selection Board System (ASBS). This is a remote role responsible for the development and implementation for updates to existing software. This position requires an Active DoD Secret Clearance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

• Work as part of a team to complete development to meet the functional business processes.
• The developer must be able to review requirements documents, work with the Businesses Requirements team to ensure a solid understanding of what is requested, assist the requirements team in peer review and refinements.
• Provide Full Stack Java development, in Java, development will occur in AWS.
• Must have experience using Restful Services, Angular framework.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Security+ (before start date).

Basic Minimum Requirements:

Candidate must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study

Candidate must be a US Citizen

Candidate must have a DoD Secret Clearance

Candidate must have 7+ year(s) experience with the following:

• Java Development
• Restful web services
• AWS Cloud Services
• Angular or similar frameworks

Desired skills:

• Active CompTIA Security+CE or other applicable 8570 IAT Level II certification
• Fortify
• Jira
