Position Summary:

This position within the Supply Chain COE provides critical reporting/analysis, continuous improvement, and training on the Sales & Operations Execution process recently established for Prepared Foods and Further Processed Poultry. Through facilitation and interaction with executives, directors, and planners it is responsible for ensuring the various process elements of S&OE are prepared, analyzed and completed in a timely and high-quality manner. Using standardized problem solving, it participates in and leads corrective action teams to assist in continuous improvement initiatives across the organization that drive the S&OE process to the next level of maturity. It also supports Supply Chain COE efforts to drive Supply Chain performance in forecasting, service, and distress mitigation. The individual will interact across Poultry and Prepared Business Units to ensure process continuity.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Continues S&OE implementation and adoption started through the Autonomous Planning program in 2022
• Drives ongoing S&OE Maturity for better fill rates, lower distress, and optimized inventory
• Assists in preparation & facilitation of S&OE meetings and business issue resolution
• Creates, monitors, and maintains S&OE metrics and key performance indicators (based on business direction), identifying resulting risks and opportunities in the businesses
• Helps drive cross-functional change initiatives between the Business Units, Sales, Finance and Supply Chain
• Acts as S&OE champion - influencing participants towards process adherence, adoption, and maturity
• Supports analytical and project-based efforts across many businesses for senior management, on an ad hoc basis
• Provides business requirements and training for applicable S&OE tools (SAP IBP, Power BI, etc.), processes and systems to business users across all applicable functions
• Perform analysis of all Planning functions and identify, document, and work closely with Reporting, Supply, and Demand Modelers to implement effective business process change
• Facilitates third party audits of the maturity of our S&OE processes and deploys findings/recommendations
• Audits S&OE activities to ensure best practices and non-negotiables are being executed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, logistics, finance, or business administration is required
• 5-7 years of experience in Operations, Change Management or Relationship Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access are required
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills are necessary
• Must be detail oriented and capable of producing high quality information on a sustainable basis
• Strong organization skills and ability to effectively multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is required
• Experience working with a large national manufacturer / distributor in key supply chain topics like demand, inventory, distribution, and production is strongly preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $98,475.83 - $190,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift

• supply planning and demand planning: 10 years (Preferred)
• planning systems (IBP, SAP: 8 years (Preferred)
• Project management: 8 years (Preferred)

• national manufacturer / distributor in supply chain topics: 1 year (Preferred)
• Food or poultry domain is a plus: 7 years (Preferred)
