Role Overview:
The individual will devise, execute and own Parameta Solutions’ strategy in this area and act as the division’s internal and external subject matter expert, leading a multi-functional development team to enhance the service and engaging directly with Parameta’s clients. We are seeking a versatile individual with a quantitative background with experience in multi asset OTC trading workflows, market data, predictive analytics & product management.
Role Responsibilities:
- Devise and implement a strategy for Parameta Solutions Trading Analytics platform
- Identify revenue generating opportunities in the trading analytics area and develop solutions to capture the resultant income streams
- Be responsible for the day to day management of Parameta’s pre, intra & post trade analytics platform
- Interact with clients to validate demand, verify the accuracy of the planned workflow, promote adoption of the completed product and provide training tools/documentation to drive successful use
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with key internal (Product Development, Sales, Channel Management and Legal) and external (direct clients and third party partners) stakeholders
- Liaise with sales and proactively meet with specific customers to research, understand and advise on trading workflow tools and methods
- Liaise with 3rd party suppliers and internal quant resource to devise new innovative analytical services relevant to clients
- Advise and be an integral part of the development team that delivers the strategic initiatives for the group
- Act as the product SME and be able to instruct and lead multi-functional development teams consisting of project managers, quantitative researchers, engineers and developers
- Stay up-to-date with innovations and industry trends in data science and financial data.
- Represent Parameta Solutions and TP ICAP at industry events and in the media
- Travel to Parameta Solutions, TP ICAP and client offices in across the globe
Experience / Competencies:
- Experience in electronic/voice OTC derivative and cash trading analytics – Market Impact modelling, TCA, pre-trade & portfolio analytics, best execution, understanding of IOIs
- Experience in aspects of interest rate derivative, fixed income, credit and FX Electronic Trading – Algos, Analytics, Smart Order Routing and/or Internalisation
- Detailed understanding of sell and buy-side workflows alongside demonstrable knowledge of trading workflows
- Product management – Proven expertise in building data, analytics and SaaS solutions sold to and used by sell side and buy side institutions
- Detailed knowledge of OTC derivative and cash (with a particular focus on Interest rate, FX and Energy derivatives as well as FI/Credit) products including pricing, conventions, trading, risk management and typical market data use cases
- Experience of writing technical requirements documentation and working within an Agile project management framework
- Ability to write presentations and articulate concepts and ideas to non-technical colleagues and counterparts
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated and used to working within a fast paced commercial environment
