Senior Network Engineer Job at Ryzen Solutions
Requirements/Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree is required in related field
· 6+ years of experience in Network engineering
· Ability to maintain, administer, and trouble shoot network service related applications, such as Cisco ISE, Cisco ACS, and network monitoring tools. Expertise in Windows, MacOS, Linux, Networking
· Be able to rack, stack, and cable network devices as needed
· Ability to maintain, administer, and troubleshoot datacenter network devices and services
· Experience leading medium-to-large sized projects
· Take ownership and responsibility of an issues from start to a successful resolution
· Ability to operate in high-pressure situation, handle multiple priorities and maintain a high level of discipline while remaining flexible and maintaining composure
· Be able to work well independently and as a team member
Responsibilities:
· Designing and modeling the network by estimating the growth of existing network traffic and bandwidth and network infrastructure requirement needed.
· Determining upgrade or suitable NW HW required for long term benefits or when to replace obsolete NW hardware.
· Stay on top of emerging NW trends that could provide value to SRA, and to ensure the data communication of the WAN and LAN.
· Work closely with ISP for optimal uptime and reliability
· Understand and setup and configure HA and enable automatic Failover for critical devices and circuits.
· Replace faulty network devices as required.
· Pulling reports and understanding risks from network monitoring and managing tools like PRTG, SolarWinds and performing log analysis
· Document network infrastructure for support and consulting parties
· Configure and modify the network for stability as well as future enhancement and functionality.
· Create plans and layouts for data communication networks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
