Arlluk Technology Solutions (ATS), a Koniag Government Services company, is looking for a highly qualified, experienced, and self-motivated individual with a Top-Secret Clearance to perform the duties of a Senior Database Developer to support ATS and our government customer onsite at FBI Central Records Complex (CRC), Winchester, VA.

Position Overview:
This position is for a Senior Database Developer to support the FBI’s Information Management Division by applying information technology solutions to their business processes. This role is responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of databases. The DBA will provide technical expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of these databases and additionally would monitor and resolve all database issues and problems.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Certified Oracle Database Administrator
  • Expertise Knowledge in Oracle 12c or higher
  • Expertise Knowledge in Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
  • Expertise Knowledge in Oracle Enterprise Manager 13 or higher
  • Expertise Knowledge in Clusterware
  • Expertise Knowledge in Cluster Health Monitoring
  • Expertise Knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher
  • Expertise Knowledge in SQL Profiler
  • Expertise Knowledge in SQL Server Agent
  • Expertise Knowledge in Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL)
  • Expertise Knowledge in Oracle and SQL database optimization
  • Expertise Knowledge in Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL)
  • Expertise Knowledge in Oracle and SQL database optimization
  • Expertise Knowledge in performing many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery, and configuration management.
  • Expertise Knowledge in installing database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
  • Expertise Knowledge in identifying, define, and assess the properties and specifications necessary for the database management system (DBMS) to meet current and future needs of the organization.
  • Define a logical database structure for application development based on the organizational structure of the company.
  • Define and execute procedures for testing and implementing new applications in the database environment.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to data security and integrity.
Education, Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience/Support Oracle Database Applications (ODA)
  • Experience/Support Oracle Linux
  • Working Knowledge with LINUX Red Hat 6 and higher
  • Working Knowledge with Microsoft Desktop Productivity Suite 2013 or higher
  • Working Knowledge with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure Cloud Administration

Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
