Position Summary - Senior Accounts Payable Analyst
The successful candidate will report directly to Account Payable Manager and will work closely category management department. The position is hybrid in nature requiring a presence at our Pompano Beach, FL. The individual be a part of the Account Payable department and will have a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Create/calculate Vendor Debit billings in accordance with agreed upon contracts for coop and rebate calculations monthly/quarterly/annually
Manage vendor accounts for outstanding coop debits and reconcile any checks received against the outstanding credits
Assist with managing vendor disputes regarding billing and contracts related to coop and rebate
Manage miscellaneous billing process for vendor Show, SPIFF, National Sales Meeting Participation
Run sales tax activity reports and provide to third party company for processing
File miscellaneous tax reports as required by state
Maintain business license payments and documents for LNS locations
Participate in Month End close duties as required
Assist with other Accounts Payable Duties as required
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements
Works in a collaborative and proactive work environment emphasizing accuracy, attention to detail and innovation
Ability to reconcile accounts with many transactions
Proficiency with MS Office applications, strong understanding and experience with ERP’s (Oracle Preferred)
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Education and Experience Requirement
5+ Year accounts payable or other relevant experience
