Hilton Head Island Beach and Tennis Resort is looking for a Security Lieutenant to fill a full-time day shift position. We are looking for applicants who have a good work history and related experience in a professional environment. To be considered applicants must meet SLED requirements of a HS diploma, background check, and pre-employment drug testing. Applicants with a college education and/or experience in the Security field, law enforcement experience and/or military experience are preferred.
Position Responsibilities
Our supervisors are responsible for providing quality physical security at the Resort site. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience as supervisor.
- Must be able to perform daily briefings to include pass downs of pertinent information and events of the day.
- Must have typing skills and be able to use Excel and Word programs.
- Must be able to manage a schedule.
- Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess the visual acuity necessary to prepare records and reports and operate a computer terminal.
- Must possess manual dexterity to operate standard office, data entry, and computer equipment.
- Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, and repetitive motions.
- Must have knowledge of surveillance camera systems.
- Must be able to perform patrols over a vast area of responsibility.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum 2 Years as a Supervisor
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
We Offer
- $ 500 bonus paid after 1st 45 days on the job.
- An additional $ 500 bonus paid after 90 days on the job.

- Pay $21.00 per hour.
