POSITION SUMMARY:

The security investigator serves as a specialist in corporate with an aptitude to conduct covert video surveillance. Position requires a strong competency to uncover critical facts and document alleged misconduct that includes policy or rule violations as well frauds, thefts, and threats of violence in the workplace. The role also requires general security knowledge that includes implementation and administration of internal facility security functions including maintaining security requirements. This role includes an ability to identify basic physical security deficiencies and recommend a mitigation strategy to close identified gaps.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.

· Conducts all facets of a comprehensive investigations

· Ability to conduct covert mobile and stationary surveillance

· Prepares accurate and detailed investigative reports

· Performs periodic and random security inspections and prepares security reports, as necessary.

· Network and act as a liaison with outside law enforcement and other first responders - as well as industry organizations.

· Executive Protection (EP): At the direction of senior management, may provide and coordinate an advance, due diligence, logistical and protective support for key company executives during company events

· Prepare and maintain site physical security assessments (PSA) and advises senior management of deficiencies and remedial mitigation recommendations to improve deficiencies.

· Assists in the implementation and administration of automated security systems. Maintains records for periodic secure systems inspections with customer liaisons and other technical professionals.

· Perform other duties as required.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:

· High school diploma and a minimum of five years of commercial security experience.

· Working knowledge of security requirements and incident investigation.

· Experience with courtroom testimony.

· State issued clearance card.

· Must maintain a valid Driver’s License.

· Experience with MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

· Previous experience in a union environment is desirable.

· Law Enforcement experience is desirable
