Summit Schaumburg, IL currently has open position for a Screener (2nd shift). Summit Interconnect is a manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards with a specific focus on complex rigid and rigid-flex product with unique expertise in RF/Microwave applications.
The Screener is responsible for having knowledge of the Summit Traveler, work order number and tool number. Check artwork and identify if serialization is required. Daily priority list of jobs. Screen imaging, mixing legend ink. Set up of screen and panel on screening table. Cleanup of all tools. Quality workmanship in pushing legend. The Printer lgp-509 is also used. Bake time of legend and identify next step on traveler.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of one (1) year in the printed circuit board industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Responsibilities:
- Legend and serialization.
- Ensure quality.
- Performs other department or company-related tasks at the direction of the department lead.
- Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year printed circuit board experience.
- Basic mathematical and reasoning ability required.
- Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- This position requires the individual to perform for the entire shift while standing.
- Must have very good concentration and must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions.
Compensation/Benefits: Summit offers a variety of health and benefit programs. Which include Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA plans, Hospital and Accident plans, Life Insurance, PTO, and Paid Holidays. Benefits are effective 1st day of the month following date of hire.
Pay Range for this position is $15.50 - $19.00 hour based on experience.
