$18.50/hr + $2.00 Shift Differential

** Progressive Increases @ 90day, 6mons and 1yr **

Estimated Schedule:

Monday PM – 11:00pm – 7:00am

Tuesday PM – 11:00pm – 7:00am

Wednesday PM – 11:00pm – 7:00am

Thursday PM – 11:00pm – 7:00am

Friday PM – 11:00pm – 7:00am

Saturday PM (as needed) – 11:00pm – 7:00am

JOB DESCRIPTION -

Overview/ Summary
This position will consists of cleaning and sanitizing the plant to maintain conformance to USDA standards within a schedule to ensure maximum operating time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RERSPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean/ wash down and confirm that machinery, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient production.
• follow sanitation procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), USDA and FDA regulations for all sanitation tasks.
• Set up, stock and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
• Comply with and understand company policies and standards.
• Support and follow all Food Safety and Plant Safety policies, practices and protocols.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous Sanitation experience is preferred, but not required.
• Prior experience in food manufacturing plant or similar; meat experience preferred
• knowledge and technical skills in sanitation and meat processing jobs and chemicals is preferred
• Good communication skills and able to follow directions
• Team Player
• Good/Excellent Attendance
• Self-motivated and punctual
• Detail oriented

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Frequent standing, bending and walking, which may be required for long periods of time
• Slippery floors, damp/wet environment, cold temperatures, and loud ambient noise
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Safely handling and being exposed to chemicals.
• May have schedule changes.
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50# unassisted
