Summary
HSF Affiliates is seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce Development Lead. As an integral member of the IT team, the Salesforce Development Lead plans and conducts an analysis of complex business problems, architect technical solutions, be responsible for the development of new solutions and maintenance of existing solutions.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
The Salesforce Development Lead will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Work with business and external development partners to analyze business requirements and propose solutions.
- Drive solution design meetings with stakeholders and the development team to create functional requirements.
- Develop project plans, provide effort estimates and timelines, and coordinate project activities.
- Architect complex technical Cloud CRM solutions.
- Design, develop, document, and test new and existing solutions.
- Serve as the technical expert on Salesforce projects.
- Recommend and monitor best practices for development, deployment, and code management.
- Lead the development team during the build, testing, and implementation phases.
- Understand third-party integration and functionality, design and document the end-to-end process.
- Maintain and enhance all existing salesforce implementations by reviewing bugs and enhancements requests, prioritizing resources, and being responsible for SDLC.
- Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s in Computer Sciences or related field or combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- Must have 10+ years of experience in working software development.
- Must have 5+ years of experience in development on the Salesforce platform.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud required.
- Understanding of Roles, Sharing, Profiles, and Security.
- Experience in salesforce development including APEX Classes, Lightning Components (Aura, LWC), Triggers, Workflows, Validations, and Visualforce pages.
- Experience in developing REST APIs.
- Experience in integrating Salesforce with other platforms.
- Nice to have - Knowledge of Marketing Cloud.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Must be self-directed, motivated, collaborative, and be comfortable in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrates creative, technical, and analytical skills
- Able to work with distributed team members under Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Working knowledge of software development methodologies and specialized analysis, design, and testing tools.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects concurrently.
Other (licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel, etc.)
- Salesforce Platform Developer I/II is a plus.
