PALFINGER is seeking a strong Distribution Support Representative and will be working at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Council Bluffs, IA, also known as Omaha Standard PALFINGER. Job Summary

As a Distribution Support Representative, you will provide a communication point for distributors inquiring about spare parts and order status. You will also direct incoming calls to the appropriate party. Effectively communicate Palfinger Co. Bluffs order, warranty and return policies to distributors. Provide a positive customer service experience to all of Palfinger Co. Bluffs distributors. The role reports to the Regional Spare Parts Manager offering a competitive compensation package and opportunity for on-going career growth.

Position Objectives and Key Responsibilities:

• Customer inquiries via phone calls, emails, & fax regarding price and availability of products.
• Understanding and promoting of order and return policies to distributors.
• Enter customer orders into SAP with accuracy of all required details to process order.
• Communicate with customer if more information is needed.
• Provide distributors with open order and delivery status.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Provide part recommendations to customers based on customers information.
• Sort, distribute, and track and follow up, if necessary with the plant floor production area.
• Set up and manage spare part price sheets.
• Assist customers with Omaha Standard Palfinger marketing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of administrative work experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• 2 years work related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• SAP experience preferred but not required.
• Problem solving attitude required.
• Excellent communicator via phone/electronic means.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Demonstrate professional knowledge of all warranty policy, along with proper technical protocol while investigating each claim;
• Proficient use of Microsoft office
• Highly motivated self-starter;
• Team Player and “Can do” attitude;
• Act professionally in any situation.
