StretchLab is seeking a high energy, fitness minded Sales Associate-Membership Sales to educate and sign up new Members for our newly constructed Studio in West Bloomfield. StretchLab is the industry leader in offering one-on-one Assisted Stretching, and has created a variety of offerings to empower clients to ‘Live Long’. StretchLab Flexologists™ are body movement experts certified in a variety of related fields, and receive exceptional training developed by the world's leading authority on Assisted Stretching and Flexibility. StretchLab's proprietary Flexologist ™ Training Program ensures that all of our members receive a world class stretching session.

POSITION:

The Sales Associate reports to the studio General Manager and will assist in new member acquisition in studio and at Pop-Up events scheduled around the West Bloomfield studio. In addition to new memberships, the Sales Associate will also assist in member retention. Experience in the fitness industry is preferred but not required. Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills are a must!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required
• This role requires the ability to communicate effectively over the phone, in-person, and email. Sales Associates typically make 50+ calls/contacts per shift worked.
• Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships for one-on-one assisted stretch and retail
• Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system
• Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday
• Must enjoy and thrive working in a busy studio environment
• Ability to multi-task
• Must have proficient computer skills
• Daily and/or occasional local travel may be required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the General Manager with the sales process of lead generation, follow up, and membership
• Book and confirm Demo/Intro Stretches for prospectiv members
• Manage the front desk (in studio and at Pop-Up events) to greet and check-in meembers and prospects prior to assisted stretch sessions
• Achieve assigned weekly/monthly new membership sales targets
• Participate at Pop-Up events outside of the Studio to sell memberships
• Other duties as assigned
