Operating since 2011, Medvision a subsidiary of SADITA holding group (www.sadita.net) which researches and develops equipment across a number of specialities. Operating from Houston, Texas, Medvision SDT will offer high-quality medical supplies to hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout the area, as well as expand sales nationwide.


Summary:

We, Medvision SDT, are looking to hire a persuasive and customer-oriented medical sales representative to persuade health care professionals to purchase our medical products with empathy towards the customer’s needs, promoting core and specialty services to the healthcare industry. They are responsible to promote and sell the company's products. Customers include doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. The medical sales representative will increase product awareness, with market analysis and research. Answer queries, provide advice and introduce new products. This position provides support services in all functional areas of sales including the utilization of affiliate services, cultivating, and strengthening business activities by implementing and promoting professional services. The sales representative is best defined as a flexible sales resource that focuses on facility-specific service lines that are in alignment with the market strategy. This position reports directly to the Business Development Manager. This is a full-time hybrid position with a base salary of $55,000 to $65,000 per Year plus 14% of commission value.

 Basic Responsibilities: 

The medical sales representative’s responsibilities include identifying new opportunities to increase product sales, investigating and resolving customer complaints. Strategically negotiating the terms of the contract with customers to close sales. They should also be able to take the necessary steps to develop an in-depth understanding of the latest clinical data. 

To be successful as a medical sales representative, they should keep abreast of the latest developments in medical legislation to determine the effect it may have on company sales. Ultimately, an outstanding medical sales representative should demonstrate excellent negotiation, customer service, and consultative sales skills to continually meet or exceed sales targets.

 Major Responsibilities:

Market Management Sales Analytics:

 Undertaking relevant research. Identifying and establishing new business.
 Negotiating contracts with Suppliers. 
Assessing market competition by improving the company’s products compared to competitor’s products.
 Defining product marketing communication objectives.
 Launching businesses and workshop organizational coordination, as well as creating, developing, and implementing strategic plans.
 Managing allocation of resources to maximize return within regulatory and ethical outlines.
 Preparing sales forecasts. 
Identify target markets in accordance with organizational strategy utilizing familiarity with market operations and existing reporting and dashboards.
 Evaluate and interpret market utilization data and market demographics, including market share data for primary or secondary facility service lines, ensuring that sales priorities are identified for both physicians and patient populations.
 Develop sales and retention strategies for target markets and facility service lines.
 Complete face-to-face sales meetings with physicians, schedulers, practice managers,
and medical staff from hospitals to ensure understanding, as well as to close business, ensuring that obstacles are identified and minimized.
Physician Liaison/ Hospital Communications:

 Prepare and present opportunities, market trends, and challenges to appropriate staff in a timely manner and on a regular basis, gaining support and commitment as needed.
 Coordinate meetings and organising appointments with hospital-based healthcare staff.
 Demonstrating or presenting products to healthcare staff including doctors, nurses and pharmacists.
 Meeting both the business and scientific needs of healthcare professionals.

Ability to research, understand and explain healthcare services' volume, utilization, market data, and physician referral patterns.
 Knowledge of key industry business drivers, emerging medical trends, and performance metrics, and ability to leverage that knowledge to inform strategy.
 Strong communication, interpersonal, collaborative, and analytical skills with a customer focus; must be able to foster and maintain sound working relationships.
 Independently motivated and driven to achieve high goals and seek continuous improvement in knowledge and skills.
 Competencies for sales efficiency and effectiveness; discipline in goal setting, prospecting, networking, territory management, and time management. Skills in account management, needs assessment, value propositioning, handling objections and gaining agreement.
 Skills to employ technologies effectively and proficiency (MS office suite, relevant mobile technology and web-based applications.) 

Qualifications (Education and professional Experience):

Education:

 Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field from an accredited college or university.
 Preferred: master’s degree in related field.

Experience:

 Progressive healthcare sales experience in a multi-site healthcare organization strongly preferred.

Other:

 Requires the ability to travel in the service area on a regular basis.
