Job Description
Freshly Staffed is seeking an individual to represent our client in the Romeoville, IL as a Technical Sales Representative. The ideal candidate will have a passion for success, strong understanding of the sales process, excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. They will also be a self-starter, and go-getter with strong negotiating skills, and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.
Our client is the global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications. They have over thirty manufacturing and assembly plants worldwide servicing over 10,000 customers in more than 100 countries.
They complement our client's extensive line of Motive Power and Energy Systems with a full range of integrated services and systems. With sales and service locations throughout the world, and over 100 years of battery experience, our client is the power/full solution for stored DC power products.
Job Functions
- Consistently exceed your sales quota by retaining, growing, and prospecting clients within your account territory.
- Use product knowledge in conjunction with knowledge of customers’ project objectives to develop unique value propositions supported by financial impact analysis and feasibility studies.
- Use Salesforce for customer relationship management activities.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, meetings, and seminars to promote products or to learn about industry developments.
- Create, maintain, and enhance relationships with key personnel for product development and sales. Willingness to travel nationally on a frequent basis.
- A drive for self-education and learning new products, services, and business processes.
- Other activities include proposals, pricing, presentations, forecasting, program management, and other duties as required.
- The primary duty is to exercise discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical matters. Identify the right customer stakeholders and build connections quickly to drive consensus for deals; works cooperatively with wide range of internal stakeholders for deal success.
- Independently and collaboratively strategize for solving deal-level challenges.
- Follow all company policies and procedures as listed, but not limited to: warranty, safety, environmental, OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000.
- All other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications
- At least 2-5 years of sales experience.
- Hospitality Customer Service experience highly desired
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend manuals, procedures, and other written documents written in English.
- A college degree is preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
