Sales Manager Job at LTF Technology
LTF Technology, a leading product development and manufacturing company specializing in innovative engineering design and manufacturing of electronic products such as power supplies, controllers, OEM fixtures, and LED lighting components, is currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop new business opportunities and grow existing accounts while managing a team of regional sales managers, inside sales representatives, and customer support personnel. This is a full-time position based at our headquarters in Huntley, IL, reporting to the CEO and Director of operation with continuous communication across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, train, and coach direct Sales and customer service employees.
- Manage, expand and train sales channels and outside sales network.
- Collaborate with OEM purchasers/engineers and lighting designers to introduce LTF products and highlight the advantages they offer to OEMs.
- Expand sales within the lighting manufacturers, electrical distribution, and national sales channels.
- Engage with marketing team and activities related to product promotions and trade shows.
- Be accountable for achieving sales targets, pricing objectives, and profit margins with customers within your assigned territory.
- Coordinate internal resources, including engineering and marketing support, to achieve objectives.
- Foster strong relationships at all levels between the company and our accounts.
- Work closely with the management team to analyze and report sales results, expectations, market trends, competition, and insights.
- Travel as needed for trade shows or customer visits.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales team management, identifying, qualifying, and developing relationships with OEM targets.
- Excellent sales planning and communication skills.
- 5 years of experience in a electronic manufacturing industry sector with a proven track record in both custom design-to-order and ship-from-inventory opportunities.
- Strong technical aptitude, preferably from an electronics LED manufacturing environment; a mechanical technical background will also be considered.
- Experience in multi-channel management and support.
- Proficiency in order processing, CRM, and ERP systems, preferably Global Shop ERP solutions.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills.
- Lighting industry experience is a plus.
- Must demonstrate enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a drive to succeed in sales.
