We are seeking a Roofing Sales Representative for our Muskogee, OK location.

The Roofing Sales Representative is responsible for cultivating new and existing relationships within a designated territory to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives. The Sales Representative will generate qualified leads and develop a deep understanding of customer needs to ultimately establish productive and professional relationships with key clients. Their primary focus is generating new account revenue and position Tecta America Oklahoma as a leader in roofing. Ideally the Roofing Sales Representative will already have a solid book of service relationships and base book of business to start from. Due to the nature of the services we offer, you will very rarely make one-call closes. In most cases you will build client relationships over the course of a sales cycle that may last up to 18 months and require multiple sales calls.

Requirements:

• 2 to 3 years sales experience in roofing, construction or a related field
• Demonstrated success in sales, a strong record of achievement and a proven ability to achieve results
• Ability to apply negotiation skills to a variety of sales situations.
• Roofing industry knowledge or experience, a plus
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel locally out of the office
• Must work well under pressure
• Ability to manage/qualify leads and close business through direct contact or over the phone
• Excellent track record in developing relationships with a high degree of integrity and trust
• Solid verbal, written, interpersonal and listening skills
• Working knowledge of general roofing practices, methods & sales preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, experience and training a plus
• Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, a strong sense of urgency well organized and professional
• Assists in the collection of outstanding receivables and identifies potential problems that may delay the payment of open invoices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
