Position Description: ROOFING FIELD SUPERVISOR Restoration Builders, Inc is a company that provides roofing restoration services. We are looking for a trustworthy, take-charge individual to join our growing team. The Roofing Quality Control Specialist (QCS) is responsible for managing crews and overseeing projects, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring client satisfaction. Our ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, and team-focused. This job is not remote.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Directs and oversees the workmanship, quality, and attractiveness of assigned job sites with in-person inspections.
Able to get on roofs, carry a ladder, and wear appropriate PPE at all times
Take responsibility to safeguard against all leaks. This will involve constant awareness of weather conditions; inspection of dry-ins, roofs, etc.; and staving off foreseeable problems as well as handling emergencies as they arise
Ensure adherence to our standard roofing installation protocol on all shingle roofs
Ensure the proper installation of materials to specification on other services rendered, i.e. gutters, siding, metal roofs, etc.
On-site review of material drops, job site set-up/safety, and can perform pre-job inspections
Maintains good relationships homeowners, crews, city inspectors, and sales rep, etc.
Reports unforeseen discrepancies to the manager, sales rep, and/or customer as needed.
Provides field reports to the manager
Investigate warranty claims such as leaks, problem repairs, etc.
Takes effective photos throughout the job for the manager and City Building Inspectors and uploads them into job tracking software
Minimum Qualifications:
Two to three years of related roofing experience
Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information, and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to resolve conflicts with customers and employees with resolutions that are acceptable to all parties
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form
Basic computer skills
Compensation: $30,000 with competitive bonus plan with potential to make 70K - 90K Benefits:
