In this role, you will be responsible for managing and reducing clinical risk in the acute care setting, collaborating with healthcare providers to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, and implementing risk management policies and procedures. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced clinician with prior acute care experience.
- Manage and reduce clinical risk in the acute care setting.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and ensure timely reporting to regulatory agencies.
- Conduct staff training and education on risk management topics.
- Maintain knowledge of current regulations and standards related to risk management.
- Must be a clinician: RN, MD, NP, PA.
- Must have an active NY license in their respective field.
- Previous acute care risk management experience required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
