Revit Specialist/BIM Manager Job at Knickerbocker Group Inc
Knickerbocker Group is seeking a talented Revit Specialist/ BIM Manager to work with our design team to develop Revit templates and workflows, building models, documentation drawings, and deliver overall BIM project management on client projects.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop BIM Standards and Revit templates in partnership with our in-house team
- Develop parametric Revit families for use within the Company
- Provide training on KG Revit processes and general Revit processes to employees
- Manage BIM 360 models and documents
- Assist design teams with the production of BIM models and documented drawings throughout all project phases, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and renderings.
- Collaborate with design teams and vendors to meet overall project objectives
- Provide on-call technical support to project teams during business hours
The ideal candidate has:
- extensive knowledge of modeling and documentation techniques in Revit
- an understanding of residential construction documents and general residential construction methods preferred
- strong communication skills
- exceptional problem-solving skills
- an assertive personality
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 1-3+ years of experience of BIM management experience at an Architecture or Interior Design firm
- Strong knowledge of Revit, Dynamo, Lumion Rendering Software and BIM Collaborate Pro
- Skilled with Microsoft Office applications
