About the role


The Resort Experiences Supervisor will provide leadership over the LEGO® build attractions, shows and events operation and staff. The Resort Experiences Supervisor will ensure there’s a safe and efficient operation to provide memorable experiences to Resort guests. Compensation for this opportunity starts at $40K/year.


What you’ll be doing


Responsible for the operation of all Resort Experiences venues which include LEGO® build attractions, shows, and event operational needs.
Develop and lead a professional, efficient, and effective team with an aligned focus on the guest experience and departmental objectives. Act as a role model in leading this through the Merlin Way.
Leads all aspects of staffing levels and recruitment for the department. Develops accurate succession planning to support our day-to-day operation regarding retention.
Ensures all departmental safety procedures are consistently adhered to.
Develops, implements, and updates Standard Operating Procedures as needed.
Work closely with the Resort Experiences Duty Managers and team to deliver guest happiness and make a positive impact with our KPI’s.
Accountable for the leadership of the Trainers, Area Duty Managers, and Model Citizens which includes training and development, coaching, and performance reviews.
Supports in creating and sustaining a healthy, thriving Resort Experiences team.
Supports with scheduling, time keeping, and payroll.
Participates in the Resort Experiences and Park Duty Manager Program.
Other duties as assigned by the Resort Experiences Manager, or Head of Park Operations


Job Requirements


A minimum of three years of Theme Park or related customer service experience is required. A minimum of two years of supervisory experience is required. Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to multi-task. Applicant must be self-motivated and have the ability to take initiative. Proven history of supporting colleagues and staff with good leadership and supervisory and problem-solving skills. Experience in budget preparation and control (operating expenses and labor) is required. Effective leadership, staff development, organizational, verbal and written skills. Requires a dedication to excellence in customer service with strong guest service focus. Digital literacy (Word, Excel, e-mail, Power Point) are required.
