North Valley Services is currently hiring for Residential Direct Care Staff.
This position includes tasks/responsibilities such as:
-Integrating individuals with disabilities into the community
-Taking individuals to movies, farmers markets, community events, etc.
-Teaching:
Individuals the skills they need to be successful, hygiene and self-care skills
Household chore skills
Coping skills to help deal with frustration and anxiety
How to cook
Skills relative to an individual's goal and what they want to achieve.
Duties of staff also include light housekeeping, cooking, laundry and sometimes working with challenging behaviors.
The goal of a direct care support staff is promoting independence in the individuals we serve so they can have a greater quality of life.
Being a direct care staff can be very challenging, but also very rewarding.
Full Time Position
Competitive Benefit Package
$30,000-34,000 yearly salary

Requirements:
High School Education
Current CDL
Clean driving record
18+ years old
Pass a Live Scan background screening
