We are in looking for a Resident Project Representative to join our Northeast Water business in Bloomsburg, PA. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between the engineers and the contractors throughout all phases of our projects.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Provide on-site observation of water and sewer main construction; on-site observation also includes limited civil, piping, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical and controls construction associated with water and wastewater treatment facility modifications
- Perform operational and administrative data collection and analysis while maintaining appropriate reports and records
- Represent GHD to clients, regulatory agencies, the public, and other interested parties
- Assist with shop drawing reviews
- Field verification of conformance with contract documents
- Document information to prepare record drawings
- Assist with contract close-out documentation
Successful skills and qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 5 years of experience in construction observation and/or construction management which includes water and sewer main utility construction
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Willing and able to travel throughout the state of PA
