We are seeking a Report Writer to assist the operations team in organizational planning, development, and data measuring purposes. We are a local, well established company with thousands of continuously satisfied customers whom we have accumulated and served in over 50 years.
Job Description
· The Report Writer will coordinate, develop and support data for new and existing ERP / CRM applications
· Providing reports and report writing through various applications to improve business processes
· Collaborating with team members for the purpose of collecting data and executing the company’s mission
· Analyzing business requirements/processes and making recommendations to the management team for implementation
· Creating and maintaining documentation that includes the design, requirements, and user manuals for the organization.
· Identifying development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability
Duties and Responsibilities
· Gathers business intelligence from a variety of sources including company data, industry and field reports, public information, or purchased sources.
· Report writing and associated tasks using various tools including Power BI, Crystal Reports, and SQL.
· Assesses market strategies by analyzing related products, markets, or trends.
· Identifies markets for future product development and methods to improve sales of existing products by analyzing technology trends.
· Maintains current knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with professional organizations, suppliers, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Microsoft Power BI experience a plus.
· Ability to collect and compile relevant data.
· Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
· Strong business analysis skills.
· Works well independently and as part of a team.
· Thorough understanding of the company’s business processes and the industry at large.
· Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools.
· College degree in technology a plus.
· Experience in equipment industry or Material Handling a plus.
· Experience with ERP systems and CRM a plus.
· Must be personable and comfortable interacting with employees and customers. Ability to multi-task, compartmentalize, and prioritize according to need.
Work Environment
- Office and warehouse/shop setting.
- Virtual and in person office meetings
- Some travel required. Must have valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements
· Frequent walking in shop and offices.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
