Job Description
Responsible for assisting in the development and the direct implementation of methods and procedures during start-ups, implementations and go-live. Provides support to the General Manager and Operations team. Facilitates in the definition of project specifics through use of internal process and programs, conducting workshops and engaging in project kick-off meetings (internal and customer).
- Lead the operations efforts for new business pursuits, working hand in hand with the business development lead
- Review contractual KPIs to ensure operational processes and structure are aligned to the requirements
- Review cost model and operational processes; challenge operational team’s ability to deliver what was sold and around any deviation to cost model
- Participate with testing of automated and warehouse managements systems including conducting user acceptance testing, (UAT) and conference room pilot (CRP)
- Drive identification, prioritization and quantification of operational / startup risks.
- Provide executive updates on project progress and challenges
- Participate in cross-functional teams to solve business problems and abate risks.
- Assist and/or develop training programs and materials
- Participate in weekly project / start up meetings
- Partner with BUIT in early development of Test Scripts and conduct UAT
- Evaluate Operational start up team for proper roles and responsibilities based upon implementation requirements
- Post-startup lessons learned review with Project Delivery and Operations teams
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with focus in logistics, business management, engineering or systems
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) – preferred
- 5+ years industry experience
- Excellent change management skills
- Solid understanding of Supply Chain Concepts, preferred
