Crane Aerospace & Electronics is looking for a Recruiter at our Lynnwood, WA site.

Job Summary:

The Recruiter assists the Human Resources Department in the function of attracting top talent across Crane Aerospace & Electronics sites. To perform this job successfully, an individual will partner with the HR Business Partners and the hiring managers to complete the full lifecycle of the employment process which includes recruiting, screening, interviewing, and closing the candidate.

This position is eligible for our Crane Flex Hybrid schedule which allows for the option of up to 2 days/week of work-from-home. Some conditions apply which will be discussed during the interview process. Full policy to be provided after hire.


Essential Functions:

  • Recruit, research, interview, screen, and refer job candidates for job openings
  • Utilize Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit a diverse pool of candidates
  • Complete relevant updates, status reports and statistics for all positions
  • Partner with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications and drive diversity within the organization
  • Initiate contact with potentially qualified candidates for specific job openings
  • Review applications and interviews candidates to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and provides information about the organization and position
  • Screen and refer candidates for additional interviews with others in organization
  • Write and places job advertising in various media
  • Develop and coordinate internal and external job posting program which complies to the Company’s AAP
  • Coordinate communications with applicants
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor or management
  • File and maintain employment records for future references

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    o 4+ years of recruiting experience in a high volume, high growth environment
    o Experience working face to face with VPs, directors and managers, providing guidance, and direction to ensure a great experience for candidates and hiring teams
  • Knowledge: Understanding of all practices and responsibilities of non-exempt, exempt technical, professional and managerial positions
  • Skills/Abilities:
    o Ability to successfully assess the candidates’ potential and articulate skill set to hiring managers
    o Can adapt quickly to changing business needs and requirements
    o Ability to prioritize, stay organized, set clear expectations and drive the hiring process
    while delivering expert support and results
    o Ability to handle a large number of requisitions at once, ranging from individual contributor up to Director level roles with varying levels of complexity
    o Excellent marketing skills with the ability to effectively source and engage passive candidates using various external tools
    o Ability to effectively build relationships at all levels of the organization and externally with candidates and a variety of agencies and vendors
    o Knowledge of and ability to use applicant tracking systems
    o Excellent technical skills and attention to detail
    o Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
    o Ability to manage multiple priorities and manage time effectively
  • Education/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recruiting in the Aerospace & Defense or other relevant manufacturing industry
  • HR Certification from an accredited source
  • Bachelor’s degree

Salary range: $100,443 to $121,243. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications.
