A Recreation Supervisor assist activities attendants in the activities provided for resort guest to participate in.

  • Assist in the hiring and supervision of Activity Staff.
  • Assist in designing new recreational programs for resort guests and convention groups.
  • Assist the Recreation Manager with put together team building programs for group and/or family business holding functions at the resort based on their specific requests.
  • Assist in enforcing department policies and procedures.
  • Keeping supplies and equipment stocked and the work area clean and organized.
  • Responsible for a bank.
  • Perform duties of Activity staff as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Recreation Manager.

Requirements:
  • Prior recreational experience preferred but not necessary
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred but not necessary

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and/or sit; use hands to finger, hands to feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk; and talk or hear. Occasionally will need to climb, kneel and/or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The position is indoors and outdoors; and is exposed to hot and humid conditions whether working indoors or out and cold conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The staff member will work in a high traffic/high volume business environment and will be required to spend a majority of their time on their feet standing/walking and/or sitting working with guests on projects.
