Recon Technician
Job Description
As the Recon Tech you are responsible for inspecting the totes for any damages. Assisting with testing that the totes meet the QA standards of Hoover CS.
Responsibilities:
- Operate light duty forklift.
- Endure all products have proper identification.
- May assist with training entry-level yard technicians.
- Maintain an adequate amount of stocked hardware and supplies.
- Maintain company equipment by performing preventing maintenance according to the formal preventative maintenance system.
- Must be able to recognize different parts and assemble according to specification in an accurate and timely manner.
- Applies decals, stickers and DOT tags as required according to specification sheets.
- Verifies quality of products or parts to be shipped.
- Verifies the shipment inventory list.
- Housekeeping and organization around the yard.
- Travel as necessary to conduct company business and represent the company in matters pertaining to the system.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate ability to read and understand directions, procedures, and checklists.
- Demonstrate ability to complete work orders.
- Must have the ability to use basic math skills; add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Physical Demands:
- Moderate physical effort which requires standing on a concrete floor for prolonged periods of time
- Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
- Will be working outdoors.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
