Summary: Responsible for answering inbound calls and directs callers to the appropriate department or voicemail. Greets visitors/customers in a professional friendly manner. Provides general office support with a variety of clerical duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of the call and directs the call to the appropriate personnel or department.
- Provides callers with company address, directions to the company, fax numbers, company website, etc.
- Welcomes on-site visitors and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
- Accepts payments and documents accounts for walk-in customers.
- Maintains neatness of receptionist work area.
- Provides candidates to be interviewed with application paperwork and notifies Human Resources or hiring manager.
- Coordinates lunch and break schedules with back-up personnel to ensure receptionist area is covered at all times.
- Accept deliveries and notifies appropriate employee.
- Transmits information or documents using computer, mail or facsimile machine.
- Corrects and reissues misdirected mail. i.e., return mail.
- Monitors and processes scan requests that are submitted to the SCAN mailbox.
- Prepares documents to go to Iron Mountain when needed.
- Updates addresses received via website.
- Processes un-index images to FIFSnet using the index program.
- Performs other clerical duties as needed:
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- This position involves regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.

Education and/or Experience The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and or/GED. Six (6) months to one (1) year of relevant experience and/or training.
Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should be familiar with a PC have typing/keyboarding skills of 30+ wpm. Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel
