Tacoma Screw Products is a distribution company that sells industrial supplies, fasteners and tools to contractors, small and large businesses and individual retail customers since 1946.
The ideal Tacoma Screw Warehouse employee enjoys working in a fast pace, physically demanding environment. Perform an array of functions in a warehouse setting that may include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packaging and shipping orders, disposal of shipping materials, and managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
This job will flex between our Tacoma and Gig Harbor Warehouses.
- Full Time Position; 40 hours a week
- Up to $20.00 per hour
- Eligible for Paid Holidays upon hire
- Monday - Friday
- Eligible for pay increase after 90 days of employment
Required Experience:
Physical Requirements:
This position involves frequent walking, pushing/pulling, repetitive bending, stooping, and heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds)
Required Skills/Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Solid math, verbal, and written communication skills
- Computer literacy
- General familiarity with the receiving process
- Able to meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels and production standards.
- Able to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift, in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop a good working knowledge of product, placement, and inventory control techniques and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Forklift experience is highly desirable
