JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Sylvan Learning Center in Kendall, FL is looking for fun, dedicated teachers to inspire and help our students achieve academic excellence. We are currently accepting applications for the following position:
- Reading Teacher - For K-12 grades; High school experience will be a plus

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ years experience teaching Reading for Elementary/Middle/High schoolers
- Teacher's license (preferred not required)
- Test -prep experience SAT/ACT, FSA etc. will be a plus
- A love for teaching Reading and removing motivational blocks
- Passion for Education
- Availability to teach Mon-Fri and Sat (flexible and variable schedule)
- Should be available to start teaching at 4PM on most weekdays
HOW IT WORKS:
- Teach students in a 3:1, 2:1 or 1:1 student-teacher ratio
- Use pre-planned lessons
- Use proven methods developed by educators
- Use educational materials approved by schools

SCHEDULE:
Part-Time. Flexible schedule. Preference given to those teachers with greater availability and flexibility. You will give us your hours of availability and we will match them with our needs.
