Job Summary
Successful candidates will make immediate contributions by enhancing key business processes that add value to Our Customers, Our Shareholders, and Our Associates. Focus will be on improving operational excellence aspects of business and manufacturing operations in areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity/Efficiency, and overall Profitability. This position will be responsible to learn the Regal Rexnord Business System and the RBS Core Business Processes, adopting the Regal Rexnord standards, and applying & uphold the expectations set by these standards. They will be responsible for implementing these standards at the manufacturing level through cross-functional team projects aimed at eliminating waste, executing process improvements, improving material flow, implementing lean techniques, and achieving cost reductions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Owns status of all open CI projects at the facility, this includes, maintaining documentation (Excel Sheets, Gantt charts, pivot tables, etc.), providing updates, and preparing presentations.
  • Leads and works with cross functional teams aimed at generating projects to eliminate waste, implement process and flow improvements, reduce cost, enhance quality, and keep the promised delivery.
  • Follows up on completed projects to verify results are maintained.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement through the facilitation of Kaizen activity and Championing RBS tools.
  • Create and perform plant training and mentoring on lean mfg. tools including but not limited to 6S, visual management, standard work, VSM, SMED, Root Cause, KPIs, and Kaizens.
  • Track financial and KPI impact of projects to verify savings and improvements.
  • Taking an active hands-on role in project execution
  • Assisting in leading, influencing, training, and progressing the site's maturity of the understanding and effective application of the Regal Business System
  • Directly supporting a site in achieving strategic deployment objectives by conducting on-site workshops, audits, assessments, and providing guidance through the lean transformation process
  • Develop and upgrade CI / Lean materials at the facility level.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience within a manufacturing environment with assignments in lean manufacturing/continuous improvement tools and processes.
  • Degree in a manufacturing related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach/train in Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen tools.
  • Demonstrated history of driving change/acting as a change agent within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Six Sigma Certification encouraged.
  • Must demonstrate strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized with high attention to detail.
  • Able to engage effectively in a team environment.
