Nordent Manufacturing Inc. is in search of a talented and experienced candidate to join us on an urgent basis as a Quality Technician.
As a Quality Technician, you will oversee performing various tests on the raw materials before the production process. You will also oversee preparing test reports and suggesting improvements in the procedures.
To succeed in this job position, you should have excellent time management skills and the ability to understand mathematical concepts. You should also be able to work long working hours as and when needed.

Responsibilities
- Experience using micrometer, caliper, Micro-Vu, Hardness tester and various gages used in quality control and Quality assurance.
- Ability read blueprint(Drawings of Components and finished components) and knowledge of G D and T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances)
- Inspecting Components for all production processes and procedures.
- Preparing reports for First Article inspection.
- Receiving all the raw materials for production processes.
- Receiving and inspecting components from suppliers.
- Ensuring all the equipment and machinery are calibrated as per the requirements.
- Preparing and keeping inspection reports.
- Ensuring the products follow the production standards.
- Maintaining training records of QMS.
- Documenting quality anomalies and errors.
- Reporting any production failure to the Quality Manager.
- Recommending areas of improvement to the Quality Manager.
- Inspecting the finished product per Golden Samples.
- Knowledge of conducting in-process, First Piece and Final inspection.
- Processing customer returns for credit or replacement.
- Understanding of CAPA System for medical devices.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485:2016 for medical devices.
- Adhering to all the quality assurance testing protocols.
- Performing all the administrative duties of the Quality process.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Effective communication skills to work with fellow associates, sales, customer service and production supervisors.
- Proven work experience in the Production industry as a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, or a similar role.
- Ability to resolve technical issues.
- Excellent experience and knowledge of mathematical concepts.
- A collaborator or ability to work independently.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Understanding and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- A keen eye for detail and for accuracy.
- Exceptional knowledge of FDA regulations and other standards.
- Phenomenal time management skills.
- A detailed oriented and enthusiastic individual.
- Ability to stand for an extended period.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
