Quality Technician - 21359 Job at iMPact Business Group
We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our manufacturing client in the Thomasville North Carolina area for a 12+ month contract. If you are a quality-focused professional looking for a challenging role in a dynamic manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apploy now.
This position will involve:
- Observation of all in-process manufacturing levels and evaluation of their adherence to good and established quality standards.
- Evaluation of the present quality assurance procedures and the awareness of the need for improvement in these areas
- Support development of standard work for both quality and production for training purposes
- Assist the auditors when needed
- SPC data collection
- Statistical aptitude with experience performing capability/reliability studies
- Develop new quality assurance procedures and testing
- Perform product reliability testing
- Make frequent inspections of all phases of the manufacturing processes and provide assistance where needed
- Follow-up on safety procedures to prevent employee injury
- Maintain good employee relations and communications
- Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping within the department
Requirements:
- Associates Degree or applicable experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the Quality Assurance profession.
- Prior experience with equipment run off and validation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated individual with the ability to take ownership of areas of responsibility
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel +15%

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
