Job Description:
Intec Automation, Inc. is an established (20+ years of business), small automation company based in Rochester, NH that specializes in the design and build of custom automation equipment. To support our continued growth, we are looking for an energetic and experienced individual to serve as our Quality Leader. The individual we are seeking must enjoy problem solving, have a strong history of quality and change management as well as ISO experience. The company needs a hands-on, assertive individual that is self-motivated, pursuant of personal development and growth, who is willing to share knowledge and enhance the capabilities of co-workers and the company alike.
This position will be responsible for leading the implementation and administration of the quality control and quality assurance processes as well as leading continuous improvement efforts within the organization. Implement and maintain ISO 9001:2015 standards for the facility. Handle quality reports and documentation. Guide all departments in the concepts of quality assurance, quality control and ISO 9001:2015 standards through education, communication, and empowerment of team members within the facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control methods in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Accomplishes quality assurance objective by monitoring, reviewing, and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics to measure and improve product quality.
  • Conduct regular audits of the quality management system to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015.
  • Assist in identification, prioritization and selection of potential projects in all functional areas of the business to optimize processes and ensure quality is built into all aspects of the product design and manufacturing.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions and appropriate countermeasures to identified issues.
  • Work with teams to identify problems, analyze information and develop and implement process solutions.
  • Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate production equipment and products.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Work according to deadlines for the delivery of products.
  • Ad-hoc projects as needed
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities, future opportunities for leadership are possible as the role and responsibilities expand with additional needs for Quality and Continuous Improvement implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:
  • Four-year degree in a technical or engineering related discipline with 5+ years of QA/QC experience.
  • Experience implementing ISO standards within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification a plus.
  • Change management
Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings and status updates.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to review systems, find flaws and pose solutions to the flaws.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Employee must be able to travel occasionally to support customer or supplier interactions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stoop, walk and stand for moderate periods of time. The employee is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and live electrical components. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
