Crossroads Health is seeking a healthcare credit balance expert to structure and execute a company-wide Quality Control program.   • Structure a Quality Control program to address quality needs throughout the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control protocols that ensure ongoing compliance with both client contracts and all applicable regulations.
  • Establish, monitor, and maintain approved Quality KPIs for Crossroads Health analysts.
  • Review analyst performance and identify areas for improvement or correction.
  • Document all learning and retraining needs, referring to appropriate contact for re-training.
  • Review any required re-work to confirm quality.
  • Work with management team to ensure successful transition to live production, including proctoring assessments to trainees and auditing ramp up.
  • Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.
  • Design and provide both scheduled and ad-hoc reporting on Quality Metrics to Crossroads Health management. Reporting includes (but is not limited to) company-wide, team-specific, provider-specific, and individual.
  • Investigate client complaints, concerns, and error notices regarding quality and respond to appropriate internal contact.
  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and (where applicable) clients to ensure proper operations of the organization.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, watching industry videos, etc.
  • Work with Development Team to continuously improve the internal quality control applications.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Significant Healthcare Credit Balance Resolution or Revenue Cycle/AR Experience.
  • Experience working within multiple EHRs (for example: EPIC, Cerner, Meditech, etc.).
  • Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.
  • Ability to promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret hospital medical bills, records, statutes, contracts, and other relevant documents.
  • Understanding of medical terminology for billing and account resolution.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to clients and support to staff members.
  • Ability to perform critical work under deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • High school diploma / GED (or higher).
  • Ability to travel occasionally (<10%), locally and nationally.
  • A focused, organized, and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal, indirect, and direct communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen.

PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED):

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1+ years proven experience in a quality control position.
  • 5+ years Credit Balance Resolution experience.
  • Significant experience resolving credit balances within multiple EHRs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Extended periods of sitting at a computer and use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, speaking, listening using a phone/headset, daily collaboration, and meetings via video conference.
