QUALITY ASSURANCE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3 years practical experience in quality assurance.
• Manufacturing background with emphasis on quality systems and principles (ISO, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, Lean, Continuous Improvement)
• Statistical background a plus
• Ability to use and interpret Quality Instruments (gauges, visual standards)
• Must possess proficient computer skills.

JOB DUTIES:

• Review and enhance quality policies and practices
• Perform root cause analysis and other problem solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements
• Assist quality assurance inspectors and technicians in problem solving as needed
• Provide guidance and expertise to departments and projects that concern quality
• Perform internal and external audits
• Support engineering efforts by participating in development projects representing quality assurance and the customer
• Setup and monitor statistical process control data and equipment
• All other duties as assigned
