Job Duties:

  • Perform and review take offs of Solar PV Jobs.
  • Performs site visits and electrical inspections.
  • Identify and generate all RFI and Change Orders as required.
  • Provides and generates submittals as required for clients.
  • Tracks all input costs.
  • Generates PO’s for all material by job.
  • Review with Electrical Foreman construction planning and execution.
  • Coordinate with Mechanical Team.
  • Reviews Site work for QA/QC.
  • Plan and schedule all site work.
  • Generate Progress Billings.
  • Review EPC Contract.
  • Clearly know and understand scope of the job.
  • Participate in Interconnection Meetings and Schedules.
  • Complete permitting review and coordinate engineering RFP’s.
  • Generate Material PO’s.
  • Generate Schedules and set clear expectations.
    • Determine optimal labor resources.
    • Develop man hours by phases.
  • Participate and take the lead on ordering and managing procurement of MV gear packages.
  • Track each job P&L for management review.
  • Participate in project logistics.
  • Complete site visit and due diligence prior to final contract.
  • Review all relevant plan sets prior to final budget generation.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of Solar, Construction Timelines, Material components.
  • Understanding of Procurement.
  • Construction and Organizational skills.
  • Project Management Skills.
  • Utility Interconnection understanding.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Project.
  • Ability to read and comprehend CAD files related to electrical and mechanical.
  • Ability to learn Job Nimbus.
