Reports to: Professional Services (Analytics Managed Services)
Travel: <5%, US
Location: US Remote

What this role owns:
Provides a consistent, effective operating structure for analytics projects through sound project management methodology, effective project resource allocation, and consolidated project performance reporting.

What you bring to this role:
  • Ability to communicate and effectively negotiate with immediate manager(s), peers, and client partners with a high level of confidence and composure.
  • Leads a matrixed project team in executing assigned tasks and coordinating the efforts of internal and external project team members.
  • Ensures that project team members complete tasks and deliverables on time and within scope, and that the project delivers agreed upon analytics functionality.
  • Responsible for managing and planning multiple complex analytics and data reporting projects at a single participating organization.
  • Develops and manages all key project governance documents, such as but not limited to the Project Charter, Project Plan, Communications Plan, and Risk Mitigation Strategy
  • Manages the effective utilization of resources assigned to the project team, and proactively communicates resource capacity and shortages to the respective organization leads.
  • Coordinates engagement of subject matter experts in the business segment to assist in the identification, validation, and resolution of business system needs.
  • Acts as the liaison between project team members and CBI Analytics Director to ensure that expectations and objectives are clearly understood by all parties, and to communicate project information including the status of deliverables, scope changes, and issues.
  • Proactively evaluates project activities, builds contingency plans, executes corrective action, and monitors issue resolution to mitigate risks such as scope variances.
  • Manages the scope of the project, and ensures that scope changes are reviewed and approved by the client sponsor and Prioritization Committee where appropriate
  • Evaluates project activities utilizing quality measurements and monitoring mechanisms to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed expectations and integrate with overall project effort.
  • Monitors and reports tangible and intangible benefits.
  • Provides management with team and individual performance feedback.
  • Adheres to existing project management methodology by leveraging and promoting the use of existing tools, capturing best practices, identifying areas for process improvement, and the associated implementation.
  • Monitors and holds project resources accountable for meeting performance metrics.
  • Partners and collaborates with the client in building a strong foundational knowledge of the client business processes to deliver the appropriate solution.
  • Prepares and delivers professional presentations to management and business.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited higher education institution or equivalent experience
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification, Lean Six Sigma, Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner
Information Security and Compliance Responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance with training directives required by the organization pertaining to Information Security, Acceptable Use Policy and HIPAA Privacy and Security.
  • Adhere to and comply with the organizations Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Safeguard information system assets by identifying and reporting potential and actual security events to the organizations Security and Compliance Officers.
