Project Analyst

12+ month contract
Hybrid, Onsite 3 days a week (MUST BE LOCAL)
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and Project Analyst with HEAVY EXP gathering project-based requirements, acting as a liaison between the business team and the IT team, writing specifications, etc.
- PMI Certifications in Agile or Scrum or Project Management are preferred
- 5+ years experience working with VISIO on a daily basis
- 5+ years working as a Project Analyst
- Experience working on Accounting System upgrade, transformation or implementation projects (Microsoft system experience preferred)
- Experience working on company-wide modernization projects
- Experience in the automotive insurance industry is preferred (Companies in ATL include Acceptance Insurance, Direct Auto, Geico, Peachstate Auto, Nationwide Insurance, ATI Insurance, Aflac)
Job Description:
- The Project Analyst will be responsible for meeting with the business teams in Accounting and Finance, determining system changes that are required for modernization and optimization, writing specifications for the development team, etc.
- This person will support multiple projects including the transformation of their General Ledger systems on Dynamics Great Plains, a company-wide modernization project which will include upgrades to office 365 and a cloud platform, implementation of Microsoft BI for reporting and analysis, and an implementation of a new software to handle Sales Account Management and Dealer Enrollment
- Expert-level experience will be needed using Visio as a Project Management tool
Let’s look for someone with 8-10 years’ experience with direct experience on these types of projects. The Accounting Systems project will go through the end of the year, the optimization project and Dealer Management project will go into 2025. This will be 40 hours a week for 2-3 years. they must have all this experience and 8+ years of TOTAL experience.

Pay: $40.30 - $45.79 per hour
