The Program Enablement Team Program Manager will report into the Audit and Compliance Senior Program Manager and will be responsible for enabling and managing the end-to-end project and program management focused on data retention and SOX Compliance global programs driven by Client business needs. They will support the maintenance and automation of global data retention and deletion and SOX compliance requirements.
What you'll do
- Identify key Data Retention and Deletion (DRD) and SOX compliance activities for People Team 2023 to build into the Audit & Compliance roadmap
- Partner closely with the Client Legal team members, to co-ordinate and support people DRD requirements
- Lead the design, development and rollout of automation of DRD compliance requirements and associated tasks
- Co-ordinate and collaborate with Client Legal and ITSS team members to close out Vendor DRD communications
- Deliver change management initiatives to support and enhance DRD/SOX programs
- Manage and execute review of People Team SOX controls identifying and implementing enhancements
- Lead & collaborate with People Team colleagues to embed DRD/SOX requirements into key processes/tools
- Collaborate closely with the other Program Enablement Team (PET) members, Operations, and Development team members in utilizing and refining our project management infrastructure, processes, tools and techniques
- Identify change and enhancement opportunities to ensure efficient maintenance, implementation, proactive stakeholder management, teamwork and delivery timelines for DRD and SOX compliance
- Define, Identify, track and manage achievements and metrics for Audit and Compliance programs and contribute to overall planning and Compliance Team Strategy
- Identify and capitalize upon cross-project and cross-program alignments and leverage these to deliver new and creative ways to educate and increase awareness
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in Legal, Audit, Data Governance and Infosec to identify and deliver proactive initiatives and awareness campaigns
- Prepare regular updates to ensure insights are shared and establish operational mechanisms to review progress of programs
- Serve as the central point of contact for team members for program details and status
What you need to succeed
- Passion for Client's purpose driven nature and Audit and Compliance
- Excellent priority setting, planning, and organizing skills and attention to detail
- Work experience in Audit, Compliance, Policy or Risk Mitigation
- Good working knowledge and experience of GDPR and CPRA
- Strong project/program management skills, including an understanding of project definition, identifying required resources, monitoring deliverables, partner management, progress reporting and tracking
- Ability to balance multiple projects/tasks in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment delivery high levels of performance and service excellence
- Strong change management skills and experience with a strong track record of adoption
- A bias to action
- A passion for problem solving, risk mitigation and a strong understanding of the relationship between controls and audit/compliance
- Experience with Smartsheets (building roll ups and widgets)
- Experience with advance Microsoft tools, such as Power Automate preferred
- Experience responding to compliance and audit requests
- Ability to thrive in an environment that at times may have ambiguity and constant change
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to develop strong professional relationships with peers, managers, executives and cross-functional teams
- Ability to use good judgment to problem solve, make decisions and involve necessary individuals at the appropriate time
- 10+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Bachelor's degree
- IAPP qualification preferred or currently studying towards
