The Department of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the team as a Program Manager for the Maternal and Child Health Center of Excellence (MCH CoE). As the MCH Program Manager, you will work closely with project directors and provide programmatic support to achieve project goals. Your overarching responsibilities will include: • Closely collaborating with project partners to implement interventions and programs in accordance with research programming • Coordinating the enrollment of study representatives • Developing program management tools to enhance stakeholder engagement and data collection • Managing at least 3 training programs under the MCH umbrella • Regularly meeting with faculty, staff, and stakeholders to expand MCH competency curriculum development and monitor work plans • Planning, coordinating, executing, and attending regular events for the program You may also be asked to provide administrative, research, policy analysis, and writing support for related projects as needed. This opportunity is ideal for candidates that are interested in improving maternal and child health outcomes. Target hourly rate: $24.28-48.04
Required: • Ability to perform duties and tasks independently with minimal supervision. • Ability to maintain confidentiality with participant-related data and human resources information • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with other staff members and faculty • Experience with survey programs such as Qualtrics or REDCap • Ability to use journal and granting agency style guidelines to prepare manuscripts, proposals, and bibliographies • Skill in analyzing information, problems, situations, policies or procedures to define the problem, need or objective, identify relevant issues or concerns, formulate alternatives for resolution or new program development, and recommend alternative choices and implications for implementation. • Ability to coordinate virtual meetings using Zoom including breakout sessions, participant management and creative engaging presentation approaches Preferred: • Master's degree such as MPH, MPP, PhD, or similar field of study preferred plus at least 1-3 years of related experience in a health care, research, or educational environment • Background in maternal & child health • Experience with grant management/administration • Familiarity of federal/state reporting requirements • Knowledge of IRB policies and procedures
