Program Assistance III to support the Poxvirus and Rabies Branch (PRB) to enhance, increase and maintain the laboratory, epidemiology, and public health capacity to respond to infectious disease threats, including but not limited to MPOX disease. This position shall provide administrative and financial resource management services for PRB in the areas of fiscal and project monitoring.

Responsibilities:
- Assistance with onboarding staff
- Maintain files, including meeting notes and electronic databases.
- Attend regular meetings with the PRB staff to determine the operational components necessary for laboratory and field projects in the branch.
- Assist in the management of grants, cooperative agreements, inter-agency agreements, and technical transfer documents for the Poxvirus and Rabies Branch.
- Participate in PRB budgetary planning, procurement actions, and projections on anticipated needs.
- Provide assistance and guidance to PRB staff with processing invoices and managing Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs).
- Enters procurement requests in the ICE system after receiving a completed package.
- Collect, review, and interpret data related to fiscal expenditure and allocation in CDC financial systems (ICE, IRIS, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 4+ years of experience
