Full-time & Part-time Program Aide
Location: Laguna Beach, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, occasional weekends & evenings
Hours: 8:00am - 3:00pm with occasional overtime
Eligibility: High School Diploma, higher education preferred
Population Served: Adults with Mild to Moderate Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
Description: We are seeking compassionate individuals with a high degree of independence to assist instructors with lesson plans for various ability levels and subject areas. The aide will guide participants with their work and provide opportunities for them to do as much as they are able for themselves, thereby fostering their independence. The Program Aides assist at craft fairs, set up and facilitate special events, and annual winter and summer concerts. Documentation and progress notes are required as well as assistance with twice yearly community recitals for program participants to perform.
