Professional Development Approval System (PDAS)-Project Director Job at University of Oklahoma
The Center for Early Childhood Professional Development (CECPD) reflects Oklahoma's Commitment to highquality early care and education by providing professional development. CECPD partners with Oklahoma Human Services to deliver training and support to childcare educators across the state. We are looking for a Project Director for the Professional Development Approval System (PDAS) to join our team. This position is responsible for administering and managing (PDAS) and the Oklahoma Professional Development Registry (OPDR) for early care and education professionals. Required Education: Bachelor's degree, AND
- 18 months of experience working in an educational setting
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 66 months of related experience
Skills:
- Detailoriented for accuracy of data and information
- Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Able to produce reports and complete work within deadlines
- Must have a strong ability to lead project teams
- Must be able to create and deliver effective training presentations
- Proficient in copywriting, editing, proofreading, and composition
Certifications:
- None
Advertised Physical Requirements:
- Able to engage in repetitive motion and communicate effectively.
- Standard office environment.
Departmental Preferences:
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education/jobrelated experience
- Experience working with Oklahoma’s early childhood professional development system, including Oklahoma Child Care Services, Child Care Licensing and Reaching for the Stars, and the Oklahoma Professional Development Registry
- Experience with technical writing, including developing procedures manuals and user guides and writing reports
- Experience training adults
- Intermediate or advanced skills with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook and the internet
