Production Welder Job at Oliver Technologies, Inc.
The Welder uses hand-welding equipment to weld or join metal components. Must possess knowledge of MIG welding techniques.

Core Functions
List the core functions of the position:
· Operates safety equipment and uses safe work habits while performing job functions
· Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly. Welds components in a flat, vertical position.
· Have proper knowledge of reloading welding gun wire
· Monitors the fitting, burning and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts of warping. Examines work pieces for defects and measure parts to verify parts are at correct specifications.
· Detects faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notifies supervisor
· Performs related duties as assigned
· Maintains a clean workstation
Physical Demands
Frequently exposed to fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, works near moving mechanical parts. Must have ability to see details at close range while he/she is doing their job function. Regularly required to stand, or walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, and may occasionally be required to lift over 50 pounds.
