Nesco Resource is seeking candidates for a
Production Manager position in the Watervliet/Albany, NY area. This is a direct-hire position with an excellent benefits package that includes major medical/dental/vision and prescription drug coverage as well as a defined 401(k) contribution.
The Production Manager will report to the President and Chief Operating Officer in Oil City, PA. Salary is commensurate with experience.

The Production Manager will report to the President and Chief Operating Officer in Oil City, PA. Salary is commensurate with experience.
The successful candidate will:
- Be responsible for the day-to-day operations at the facility
- Possess leadership and problem-solving skills
- Have experience in forging or hot metal practices along with equipment maintenance
- Understand the organizational function of the parent company
- PPE usage
- Portable electrical equipment and flexible power cords
- Conversion safety products safety procedures
- Conversion products crane and chain capacities
- Be familiar with all tools and their maintenance
- Interaction with the on-site facility manager
- Summarize open order reports for Wrought Products daily
- Detail forging requirements for the shop floor
- Institute purchase orders and requisition supplies
- Plan the production schedule for the shop floor
- Communicate effectively with the chain of command at the facility and with the home office in Oil City, PA.
